UAVET Project, carried out within the scope of the EU Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training (KA220-VET, makes progress within the leadership of Balıkesir University Edremit School of Civil Aviation.
One of the project partners is Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and the project team is led by Dr. Cumali Yaşar, a lecturer from the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. Partners include Mellis Education Technologies from Turkey, Traian Vuia Military School from Romania, Dronint from Cyprus, and the Środa Wielkopolska Vocational Training School from Poland.
The project team of COMU comprises faculty members Prof. Dr. Cafer Türkmen from the Faculty of Agriculture, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Can Aktaş from the Faculty of Science, Dr. Tülay Dargut Güler from the Faculty of Education, and Dr. Zafer Karadayı from the Department of Informatics.
The project aims to develop the professional skills of electromechanical technicians in the maintenance and repair of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology.
