Bal\u0131kesir University Rector, Prof. Dr. Y\u00fccel O\u011furlu, met with academics involved in projects that have been approved by the European Union and the Turkish National Agency, and have secured grants.<\/p>\n
The visit, attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avc\u0131kurt, included academics and study programme heads from the Edremit School of Civil Aviation, who are part of the project titled “Developing Vocational Skills of Electromechanical Technicians for UAV Maintenance and Repair,” coordinated by the school.<\/p>\n
Rector Prof. Dr. Y\u00fccel O\u011furlu congratulated and presented certificates of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Abdullah Soykan, Director of the Edremit School of Civil Aviation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyhun Durmu\u015f from the project team of BAUN, Edremit School of Civil Aviation, Dr Cumali Ya\u015far from \u00c7anakkale Onsekiz Mart University, and Caner Anda from Mellis Educational Technologies for their successfully funded project. The academics whose projects were accepted also thanked Rector O\u011furlu for his interest and support.<\/p>\n
The project titled “Developing Vocational Skills of Electromechanical Technicians for UAV Maintenance and Repair,” coordinated by the Edremit School of Civil Aviation, was approved by the Turkish National Agency and awarded a grant of 250,000 Euros. The project consortium comprises 6 esteemed partners; Bal\u0131kesir University, \u00c7anakkale Onsekiz Mart University, and Mellis Educatioal Technologies from T\u00fcrkiye, Zespol Szkol Rolniczych imienia generala Jana Henryka Dabrowskiego w Srodzie Wielkopolskiej from Poland, Dronint from Cyprus, and, Scoala Militara de Maistri Militari si Subofiteri a Fortelor Aeriene “Traian Vuia” from Romania.<\/p>\n
