Workshop Reports

Local-level workshop organizations were organised to determine the occupational requirements for a drone repair and maintenance technician. The workshops targetted participants such as drone repair technicians, drone pilots, and VET trainers, specifically those teaching mechatronics, aviation, and aircraft subjects. These workshops were held at the partners’ premises, with a planned schedule between March and May 2024.

Occupational Standards E-Book

The occupational standards e-book comprehensively documents the job requirements, knowledge, skills, and competencies essential for UAV repair and maintenance technicians, providing a detailed and standardized reference to develop the UAVET training program. This e-book serves as a foundational guide, outlining the core competencies needed in UAV repair, replacement, maintenance, and operation, while addressing the latest industry trends and technological advancements. The content is crafted by collaborating with industry experts, ensuring the guidelines are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with current market needs.

This collection of instructional videos provides step-by-step guidance, making it an invaluable tool for those interested in acquiring practical repair skills in UAV technology.

Digital Handbook

The UAVET digital handbook is a user-friendly and easy-to-digest resource, specifically designed to meet the needs of UAV repair and maintenance technician candidates. Its visually attractive layout, enriched with images, graphics, and step-by-step instructions, makes complex information easy to understand and navigate. The digital handbook integrates practical applications to improve the learning experience, enabling users to engage with the material precisely. The practice-oriented approach makes the digital handbook not only a source of information but also an effective teaching and learning resource that bridges the gap between theory and practice.
