Within the scope of the UAVET Project, the UAV Maintenance and Repair Pilot Application Training Program was successfully completed in collaboration with universities and vocational education partners.
A total of 21 trainees from Balıkesir University Edremit Civil Aviation College participated in the training program, completing 20 hours face-to-face and 20 hours of distance learning. They were then awarded the UAVET Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Maintenance and Repair Certificate. The training included the following topics.
- UAV systems
- Troubleshooting
- Maintenance & repair
- Electromechanical components
- Documentation
The project also stands out with its open-access, video-based digital training content, shared via the UAVET YouTube Channel—supporting long-term learning and wider access to vocational education. This program marks an important step toward building a skilled, future-ready UAV workforce in the rapidly growing drone and aviation sector.
